At this site, containers are located for household garbage and council has implement the necessary measures to ship the household garbage to an approved sanitary landfill. If you are not presently recycling, please consider to do so, and if you know someone who isn't, encourage them to start. Your taxes are used to ship household garbage.
The municipality is encouraging backyard composting in order to reduce the weight of our conventional garbage bag. We have available composter that accepts all table scraps, bones as well as leaf products. If you are interested in this type of food digester, please contact the municipal office. These are available at 70$ and the feedback has been very positive. Compost can also be dropped off at the site providing it comes separately from any other garbage.
